Romania Q3 2007 GDP Growth
Romania's economic expansion accelerated slightly again in the third quarter as a lending boom and rising wages spurred consumption, offsetting damage to agriculture from a drought. Gross domestic product grew an annual 5.7 percent, up from 5.6 percent in the first quarter, according to data released today by INSSE (the National Statistics Institute).
